TrueLight 3D Sensing relies on the Instrument Science and Technology Department of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and a team of expert researchers, possessing numerous core patents and abundant technological reserves.

  On March 21, TrueLight 3D Sensing, a domestic manufacturer of precision optical testing instruments, announced the completion of tens of millions of yuan in Angel+ round financing. This round was led by Yuanhe Origin, with joint investment from Guanguang Industrial Investment and Changshu National Development Venture Capital, and follow-on investment from existing shareholder Peak Capital. Funds will be mainly used to improve the technology research and development system and market channel construction, accelerating the industrialization and commercialization of core products.

  Established in 2022, TrueLight 3D Sensing focuses on the research of new technologies for optical 3D imaging and measurement and testing with micrometer and nanometer precision. It is committed to building a new generation of 3D imaging technology platform and becoming a world-leading provider of optical micro-nano 3D sensing and measurement and testing solutions.

  With the deepening of the intelligent manufacturing upgrade wave and the continuous improvement of end demand and manufacturing processes, high-end manufacturing fields such as integrated circuits, new energy batteries, electronics manufacturing, panel displays, and microelectromechanical systems are constantly encountering complex micro-nano structures with a wide dynamic range. These structures contain different materials, processes, reflectivity, and roughness areas and require precision from micrometers, sub-micrometers to nanometers. The processing quality of these micro-nano structures directly affects the function and performance of related products, and urgently needs effective precision detection methods and instruments to achieve manufacturing quality control and process analysis.

  TrueLight 3D Sensing recently released revolutionary 3D microscopic imaging products—the Confocal 3D Microsensor and Confocal 3D Microscope/Profiler. The products adopt a new technological approach, based on the principle of wide-field microscopic imaging. They use structured light illumination to modulate the surface information of the object being measured, remove out-of-focus signal interference, and obtain the 3D topography of the microscopic surface through vertical axial scanning. They are applicable to both complex feature surfaces (such as scattering surfaces) and smooth surfaces, and the Z-axis precision can be flexibly adjusted to cover the 1nm to 1μm range according to the application scenario.

  Based on the fully independent "Confocal 3D microscopic imaging system technology", it successfully broke through the technical barriers of traditional technologies and core components such as laser confocal microscopy, extended depth of field, and white light interference held by European and American giants, bringing higher efficiency and stronger imaging capabilities. It is the world's first commercialized product with "array light + confocal imaging" technology.

  It is reported that another spectral confocal 3D sensor of TrueLight 3D Sensing has achieved mass production, and both the "Confocal 3D Microsensor" and the "Line Spectral Confocal 3D Sensor" have received market orders and are being stably delivered.
